Were there any classes or subjects that your child found challenging this past school year? Do you feel your child should be better at reading, writing or math mastery for his or her grade level? Then, our customized online academic summer camp is exactly what you have been looking for!
We begin with an interview in which you let us know about any concerns you may have regarding your child’s education or academic progress. Then, we do our own assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses in your child’s mastery of reading, writing or math for the appropriate grade level. Based on your information and the results of the assessments, a customized program is written by an expert at creating individualized academic programs to meet a child’s specific needs. Then, a schedule is worked out for your child to meet with a tutor as often as needed to address the issue(s) found.
Our online platform and tutoring is most likely different from anything your child has experienced previously. With our system, your child will get live, one-to-one, individualized instruction and attention from an experienced educator. All of our instructors are teachers/tutors with years of classroom experience along with one-to-one individual tutoring experience. Students are NOT expected to simply sit and listen to a teacher give a presentation. Instead, a live, interactive experience will encourage your child to talk, ask questions, be engaged and thereby increase his or her understanding of the topic being addressed. We want your child to revitalize his or her desire to learn!
Prepare for an Upcoming Class
In addition to reviewing a class or subject during the summer that a student found challenging in the previous school year, we can help students prepare for an upcoming class that he or she MAY find challenging in the fall.
An example of this could be a student that is beginning middle school in the fall but does not like to write or that finds writing difficult. One of our language arts / writing specialists would work with this student to help him or her overcome any reservations or anxieties associated with writing. The aim would be to get the student to enjoy writing and then gradually increase his or her writing skill level to that needed in the next grade.
Another common example might be that of a high school student starting geometry in the fall. An introduction and orientation to the subject during the summer would give the student a familiarity with the subject and prepare him or her for success in the fall. This would also give the student an advantage over others in the class.

By attending our camp, children can advance academically, catch up with what they should have learned the previous year or they can prepare for the next school year. It can all be done while having time for summer fun with family, for traveling, playing on a summer sports team or learning a new way to be creative with art! Your child can make academic progress and still enjoy the summer!
